G7
G7 magnetic-inertial data gloves
Tasks requiring fingertip spatial positions, with a controllable magnetic environment and a validated connection topology.
Explore product ↗HAND DATA / ROBOT TELEOPERATION
Gloves capture human motion; robot hands execute actions. Define the position or pose data you need before assessing retargeting, synchronization and control interfaces.

| Criterion | G7 | G2-L |
|---|---|---|
| Capture focus | Fingertip spatial position and hand motion | Gestures, articulation and hand orientation |
| Tracking | EMF + IMU magnetic-inertial | IMU inertial |
| Rate definition | 120 Hz sensor sampling | 50 Hz data transmission |
| Latency definition | End-to-end: wired <20 ms / wireless <30 ms | Signal latency ≤20 ms |
| Connection and runtime | Wired Hub; optional wireless >3.5 h | Bluetooth 5.1; 7 h battery life |
| Weight per glove | 115±5 g | 90±5 g |
| Before choosing | Magnetic environment, hand separation, wiring and position reference frame | Calibration, drift, Bluetooth coverage and pose-data requirements |
Evaluate G7 for fingertip spatial position or G2-L for wireless pose recording. A 6DOF IMU description is not an absolute-position tracking guarantee.
Specify nearby metal, hand separation, cabling and wireless interference. Validate representative tasks, not just specifications.
Confirm device versions, interfaces, fields, target robot and acceptance tests. Human motion is not automatically robot-action ground truth.
